LYSOSOME: Vesicle that digests macromolecules and even cell parts. Each lysosome is surrounded by it's own membrane due to the acidic condition within it. They contain hydralytic enzymes that break down whatever in neccessary. Lysosome are formed off of the membrane of the trans-golgi. Lysosome are found in all cells of the body but are particularly numerous in white blood cells that engulf disease-causing microbes.
