This highly specialized organelle that serves as information and administrative center of the cell. It stores the cells hereditary materials, or DNA and it coodinate the cell's activities.
Nuclear envelope: Double membrane with nuclear pores that encloses nucleus.
CHROMATIN: Diffuse threads containing DNA and protein.
NUCLEOLUS: Region that produces subunits of ribosomes.
